More roundtrips between Melzo and Rotterdam

Hannibal is expanding its rail services: starting from 5 February, direct connections between the Italian rail hub Milano terminal in Melzo and the Dutch Botlek terminal at the port of Rotterdam will increase from three to five, bringing the total number of weekly rotations to 15.

On these services, Hannibal, which is part of the Contship Italia Group, can carry semi-trailers, P400, tanks, and silos, as well as 40' and 45' containers.

Rail traction is assigned to SBB Cargo International. SBB is a consolidated partner of the group and handles rail traction services between the ports of the North Sea, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. (ben)
