More rail connections to Trieste

Kombiverkehr has increased the frequency of its rail/ship services linking Germany with Turkey and Greece. The company now runs five instead of three round trips between Munich and Trieste (Italy).

The new intermodal services depart on Wednesdays and Fridays from Munich and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from the Trieste terminal. From the port of Trieste, the port terminals in Pendik, Mersin and Cesme (Turkey) and Patras (Greece) can be reached by ferry via continuous bookings in a one-stop shop procedure.

Further connecting services are available from Munich-Riem both within Germany and to and from various terminals in Benelux, the UK, Poland, Norway, and Sweden. (ben)
