More rail connections in Norway
Freja in Alesund (Norway) is expanding its network with new options for railfreight. On 25 April, the transport company will launch a daily train connection on the Rauma rail line between Andalsnes and Oslo.
The multimodal operator, headquartered in Denmark, opened its office in Alesund in the summer of 2018. The long-term strategy was to develop services in North-West Norway, an area with long traditions for international trade, and at the same time strengthen the company's operations in the West Norway regions. Freja in Alesund generated an increase in turnover of almost 75% last year. (ben)
