More pharma logistics power at Brussels airport
Brussels airport (BRU) continues to invest in its logistics zone Brucargo, where it has taken delivery of a new building accommodating 4,000 sqm of warehousing and office space. The building will become the home base of Medexi, a joint venture of three companies that are active in pharma logistics:
Hazgo is a logistics services provider specialising in dangerous goods, including dry ice packaging; Ivemar offers transportation and storage of goods that require special care or treatment; Medista is a specialised medical supply company that ensures the local distribution of Covid-19 vaccines.
As independent pharma service centre, Medexi will take care of the packaging, storage, transhipment and delivery of medical products. This new centre expands the offer and expertise available at BRU. (ah)
