More intermodal links between France and Italy
The lane between Calais and Domodossola is the latest addition to Cargo Beamer's intermodal route network. Starting off on 4 October, trains will offer four roundtrips per week between the locations in France and Italy.
From December, the frequency will increase to six weekly trips in each direction, meaning that at least one train will run on the newly added route every day.
Like on all Cargo Beamer lanes, the new rail service will accommodate both cranable and non-cranable semi-trailers as well as containers, hazardous goods, P400, frigo and bulk trailers. Calais – Domodossola is the third lane that the German logistics service provider has added to its network since the beginning of the year. (ben)
