More hinterland connections for western ports
Effective 13 December 2020, TFG Transfracht, a specialist for seaport and hinterland transport services, will integrate Antwerp’s Westport as the sixth port into its network and also augment its portfolio by adding new connections to and from Rotterdam.
This will enable TFG to operate daily services between the maritime sector’s most important container terminals in Rotterdam and Antwerp and major economic centres in the hinterland. The shunting yard Kijfhoek (the Netherlands) will function as a central hub for the western ports in this network.
At the same time, TFG plans to further expand its Albatros Express portfolio by adding Worfurt in Voralberg (Austria) as its 24th terminal, the company said. (ben)
