More cargo capacity for Canada's Arctic
The Canadian air cargo services provider Cargojet and the airline Canadian North have renewed their cargo partnership. Looking back on 20 years of cooperation, the partners aim to boost capacity to better serve the Canadian Artic and its remote and northern communities.
The major increase in capacity will enable more frequent and efficient deliveries, ensuring that these communities have reliable access to essential supplies.
Cargojet will be the exclusive provider for air cargo from Winnipeg and Ottawa to Iqaluit, while Canadian North will continue to deliver air cargo in Canada’s Arctic. This builds upon Canadian North’s recent announcement to double the size of its cargo facility in Ottawa by 2026. (cj)
