More capacity for services to and from Italy
Kombiverkehr will expand its intermodal services from 7 December 2020. Firstly, the intermodal operator will increase the frequency of the Hanover (Germany) - Verona (Italy) link from five to six weekly departures.
And secondly, the trains running between Munich-Riem (Germay) and the Melzo terminal in Italy will be rerouted to the terminal in Milano Smistamento.
On the Hanover - Verona connection, the company will provide options for swap bodies, tank containers and trailers with a profile of up to P/C 400 as well as all dangerous goods transports with the exception of classes 1 and 7. The train Munich – Milano Smistamento will run three times per week and direction, Kombiverkehr said. (ben)
