The presentation of the "PHL Cargo Expansion Strategy" came in the same week that PHL announced a facility redevelopment partnership with Aviation Facilities Company and its new membership with The International Air Cargo Association (Tiaca).
A study commissioned in 2017 revealed that the airport captures only 9% of a potential USD 53 billion air cargo opportunity passing through its catchment area.
CEO Chellie Cameron: "This initiative will have a massive economic impact on the region and cement Philadelphia’s status as an intermodal logistics hub. (ah)
