Mongolia added to Agroexpress network
RDZ Logistics has dispatched the first Agroexpress to Mongolia. Having departed from the TPK Alliance Terminal in Orlovka in Russia’s Volograd region, the train is now on its way to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, 7,000 km away. It is carrying 76 Fesco containers, transporting a total of 1,976 t of mustard seeds. From now on, the Agroexpress will run between Russia and Mongolia once a month.
The project was launched in 2019 with the aim of promoting the export of agricultural products from Russian producers to China and other Asian countries. In addition to the rail transport in refrigerated and universal containers or flexitanks, RZD Logistics also handles all logistics operations along the route. (ben)
