MOL commits to safety
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) has introduced the 'MOL Group Safety Vision', setting out its approach to enhancing safety in both its shipping and growing non-shipping businesses.
The safety vision aims to integrate with MOL's existing sustainability strategies and group values, focusing on safety as a core component. It includes a commitment to maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) like "4 Zeros" (zero serious marine incidents, zero oil pollution, zero fatal accidents, zero serious cargo damage), and introduces new KPIs specific to different business segments within MOL. These KPIs have targets set for 2025, 2030, and 2035, aiming to track and improve safety performance. (pb)
