Militzer & Münch mourns Werner Albert
Werner Albert passed away at the age of 80 years on 8 September. He was a long-standing president of the administrative board and one of the main shareholders of the Transinvest group to which the Militzer & Münch group also belongs.
Albert is considered as one the major architects of rail connections with the former Soviet Union. In his roles as deputy chairman of the international coordinating council on Trans-Eurasian transportation and honorary chairman of the group of European Trans Eurasia operators and forwarders, Albert successfully campaigned for future-oriented solutions and mutual trust between the rail companies involved.
He gained great international recognition for his achievements in the transport and logistics industry and received many awards. (mw)
