Militzer & Münch investing in new location
Militzer & Münch (&M) is expanding its capacities and currently building a new warehouse in Bulgaria. Preparations are now in place to relocate and enlarge the group’s location in Paris. When the new logistics terminal is ready, the present storage area will grow by 60% to 9,000 sqm.
The terminal will encompass a total of 20,000 sqm including office space and 25 loading ramps. M&M’s board member Guillaume de Laage de Meux, said: "The move will allow the Paris office to handle all traffic smoothly and provide space for new business.”
M&M is also making substantial expansions to its business in Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Belarus. Construction work on a new, almost 2,600 sqm logistics platform in the Bulgarian capital Sofia began in February 2019. The company plans to offer cross-docking, temporary storage and faster customising and distribution services at the new site from autumn 2019. (mw)
