Michaël Koundri named CEO of Gefco Lorry & Transport

Gefco Spain has appointed Michaël Koundri as new CEO of Gefco Lorry & Transport, a division that specialises in the trade between Europe and Morocco. Koundri has a degree in commercial law and more than 25 years of experience in the logistics and transport industry.

He joined Gefco in 2003 as commercial director for southwestern France. Shortly thereafter he took over responsibility for the Maghreb region, holding various positions for Gefco there.

In his new role, Koundri will be responsible for the growth and profitability of Gefco Lorry & Transport. The division is a key component of Gefco group’s expansion strategy for the Maghreb countries. (mw)
