Michael Henke: honorary doctorate from Finland
The Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT, Finland, has awarded Professor Michael Henke an honorary doctorate.
The director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML and holder of the chair of corporate logistics at the Technical University of Dortmund was honoured for his many years of collaboration on 28 May 2022 and from now on bears the title of Univ.-Prof. Dr. habil. Dr. h. c. Michael Henke.
During and after his habilitation, Henke worked for the Supply Management Group SMG in St. Gallen (Switzerland). For the past seven years he has been researching and teaching both in Dortmund and in Finland: at LUT University in Lappeenranta he is adjunct professor for supply chain management at the School of Business and Management.
