Metrans: two new services in Eastern Europe
HHLA’s intermodal affiliate introduced two new rail connections this month. One of the new trains run between the Croatian Port of Rijeka and the Metrans Budapest Csepel Terminal in Hungary.
The second train links the Indija Terminal in Serbia with the Budapest Csepel Terminal. The two trains recently completed their maiden runs and will offer regular weekly services.
Metrans is a specialist for hinterland container transports. With its network, the company connects major sea cargo hubs such as ports on the North Sea and the Adriatic, or broad-gauge change rail hubs with inland Europe. (ben)
