Metrans augments train service to German seaports
Starting from 1. September, the HHLA affiliate will operate three direct trains per week between Leipzig Wahren (Duss) and Bremerhaven (CT1-4) in Germany. The extension of the train schedule follows a growing demand for transport services between Leipzig and German seaports, especially to/from Bremerhaven.
The train will depart in Leipzig every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will arrive at the terminal in Bremerhaven at the next day by 18.30 h. In the opposite direction the train will depart at the port on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with a pick-up time in Leipzig the next day from 15.00 h. (ben)
