Medway opens logistics platform
Medway recently inaugurated its terminal in Sines, Portugal. The hub has a total area of 33,000 sqm and capacity for about 2,000 teu.
The logistics platform provides handling equipment, container parking, cargo consolidation and deconsolidation and moorings, among other services. According to Medway, the company has also joined the OFN (Octopus Freight Network).
OFN offers a networking solution to bring together reliable and efficient freight agents with other independently operated international freight companies. Medway is a logistics provider and the largest private railfreight operator in the Iberian Peninsula. (ben)
