Masks to Graz
The demand for high-quality medical products - currently mainly FFP2 masks and rapid antigen tests - continues to grow significantly throughout Europe due to the new regulations.
To meet this demand, the Diwa Medical Group, in cooperation with Belenos and Quehenberger Logistics, brings around 2 million masks with a B777-200 of the Russian Nordwind Airlines from China to Austria, where Graz in the south eastern part of the country was selected as the destination airport.
Swissport Cargo Services Graz, a joint subsidiary of Swissport Cargo Services Austria and the airport operator, runs the freight centre, which is a major asset for the regional economy.
Station manager Andreas Ottendorf: "We are happy to be able to demonstrate our know-how in handling cargo planes." (ah)
