Marshall Islands Registry branches out

The International Registries and its affiliates (IRI) have opened new offices in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada) and Qingdao (China). It is IRI’s first office in Canada and its 11th office in Asia.

The opening of the Vancouver office expands on the historical and powerful link between Vancouver and China, while Qingdao will facilitate inspections and client services in Northern China. Annie Ng, head of Asia and managing director of the Vancouver office will remain head of Asia and relocate to lead from Vancouver.

IRI president Bill Gallagher: “With trade, inspections and port traffic increasing between Asia and North America, we want to make sure we have the resources in place to support our owners and operators as they grow.” (sh)
