Marseille Fos names executive and supervisory board leaders
The former port of Le Havre managing director, Hervé Martel, has started work as interim managing director of the Marseille Fos port authority following his nomination by the French transport minister. Martel's appointment is now due to be officially ratified by the French port’s supervisory board.
Martel joins the Marseille Fos executive board as a replacement for Christine Cabau Woehrel, who left in March on completion of her five-year term to re-join Marseille-based CMA CGM as director of assets.
Meanwhile Marc Forneri has been re-elected for a second five-year term as the supervisory board chairman of Marseille Fos. A member of the board since 2009, Forneri has a wide background in industry and finance. He is currently the founding chairman of mergers & acquisitions specialist Bucephale Finance and is a former head of world-leading ski manufacturer Rossignol. (mw)
