Mars Logistics now on French soil
Mars Logistics, a logistics branch of the Japanese group Hitachi Transport System and a former Turkish brand, is continuing its expansion in Western Europe. The company recently started operations in France, leasing warehouse space of about 5,200 sqm within GLP's Logistics Park Marly-la-Ville.
Founded in Turkey in 1989, Mars Logistics is an international group specialising in the provision of multimodal logistics services. After setting up three sites in Spain in 2019, the company now wants to extend its operations into France.
Serkan Paksoy, country manager of Mars Logistics France: “We chose this site mainly for its location, which allows us to ensure the distribution in the north of France and Ile-de-France for our flows from our rail hub in Bettembourg (Luxembourg).” For the launch of its operations in France, Mars Logistics hopes to recruit around thirty employees by the end of the year.
