Marlink launches new cyber-security company
Marlink has established ‘Marlink Cyber’, a company dedicated to addressing growing cyber threats and increasing compliance needs.
The new entity merges the expertise of the Norwegian company with the capabilities gained through its acquisitions of Diverto and Port-IT, bringing together around 150 experts. Marlink Cyber offers services in three main fields, namely professional cyber-security services, infrastructure and endpoint security and a cyber security defence centre.
With various security operations centres worldwide, including the first maritime SOC, the company provides managed solutions for vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, compliance support and incident response.
“By combining our resources into a single entity we can better address customer needs for proactive cyber defence,” Marlink Cyber president Nicolas Furge said. (ah)
