Marc Canalda promoted to CEO
Marc Canalda has been appointed CEO of Grupo Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea. Formerly financial director of the group, he replaces Fernando Val in this role. With the new president Antonio Armas Mead, son of the recently deceased Antonio Armas Fernández, he will aim at "giving continuity to the growth plans of the company".
Before joining the group in September 2021, Canalda served as financial director at Grupo Titan and other companies. He has also worked for Celsa and Ernst & Young. Canalda holds a degree in business administration and a general management programme (PDG) from IESE Business School. (cj)
