Manolopoulos to manage another fleet
Harris Manolopoulos has been appointed as the new director of fleet of the Latvian acmi, cargo and charter operator Smartlynx Airlines. His task will be to oversee optimal fleet utilisation and efficiency and work closely with other departments in the airline to align the fleet with the company's strategic objectives.
Smartlynx operates one of the most diverse fleets amongst acmi airlines globally, consisting of 69 A320, A321, A321F, A330 and Boeing 737MAX8. At the end of 2024 it will receive its last addition to its cargo fleet – the 14th A321P2F.
Manolopoulos has almost 20 years of experience in the aviation industry. Before joining Smartlynx, he held the position of fleet director at Spanish airline Volotea and a general manager role at Sky Express Airlines. (ah)
