Makita and cargo-partner celebrate ten years of cooperation
Cargo-partner started its cooperation with Makita ten years ago. Today, cargo-partner offers the manufacturer of electric tools an end-to-end solution, including flexible storage options and comprehensive customs handling. In 2009, Japan-based Makita was looking for a competent international logistics services provider to organise its overseas shipments from Asia to Austria, including further distribution on-site.
Makita chose cargo-partner because of its wide-ranging network and its expertise in overseas and international transports. Today, cargo-partner organises sea freight, air freight imports from Asia for Makita, including further distribution within Europe, with daily pick-ups, overnight deliveries and complete customs handling for imports and exports.
In cargo-partner’s cargo handling hub in Vienna (Austria), Makita enjoys the additional benefits of scalable storage options as well as a “back-up warehouse” for peak times. (mw)
