Major order for Rheinmetall Man
The armaments company and automotive supplier Rheinmetall Man is supplying the German Bundeswehr with 568 logistics vehicles worth over EUR 330 million, to be delivered in 2025 and 2026.
Last year, Rheinmetall Man – a JV between Rheinmetall and the truck manufacturer Man – delivered more than 2000 HX military trucks to Germany’s armed forces. The latest order includes 349 trucks (unprotected transport vehicles UTFs) and 219 trucks with swap-body systems.
Since 2017 Rheinmetall Man has delivered more than 6,000 HX vehicles to the Bundeswehr. In addition to Germany, the user group currently includes the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Hungary, Singapore, Slovenia, Denmark and Ukraine. (ben)
