Maiden voyage of new super B-class vessel
AAL Shipping recently introduced the 'AAL Limassol', the first in its new super B-class fleet, during a ceremony in Quanzhou, China. This vessel is designed to manage large and complex cargoes and features significant advancements in maritime transport technology.
The design includes a bridge positioned at the front for better visibility when transporting tall cargoes, a cargo capacity enhanced by three cranes with a combined lift of 700 t, and dual-fuel capabilities. The 'AAL Eco-Deck' increases its deck space to over 5,000 sqm.
As part of an expanded fleet that now includes 27 vessels, the 'AAL Limassol' emphasises AAL's focus on serving the industrial project sector effectively. Its first voyage from Asia to Europe is fully booked, demonstrating a strong market interest. (pb)
