Maersk to work with Korean tyre producer
A.P. Moller – Maersk has signed an MOU with Kumho Tire to solidify its foothold in the automotive sector. Kumho, a Korean tyre manufacturer, has previously used Maersk’s ocean services and can now enjoy collaboration in the logistics sector.
Under the agreement, Kumho will leverage Maersk’s 4PL portfolio for five years and utilise their domestic intermodal services for three years. The company hopes to manage more than 40,000 FFE volumes annually from 2024.
