Luxemburg airport participates in global roll out of H5
The first phase of the implementation of Hermes 5 (H5) cargo management system (CMS) has been completed at Luxembourg airport. The system was customised for the ground handler Luxair Cargo.
The upgraded H5 version provides advanced trucking functionality, and includes features such as a new customs interface, designed to help speed up cross-border customs clearance, as well as real-time tracking functionality and data analysis, which reduces delays and backlogs.
Laurent Jossart, EVP Luxair Cargo: "This tailored H5 version will help us to handle 1 million t of airfreight a year and save significantly on time and costs."
Hermes commenced the global rollout of H5 earlier in 2018 with the implementation of its CMS at air cargo terminals in Hanoi, Santiago de Chile, Hyderabad and Dubai. (ah)
