Luhta returns to law in new role
The US 3PL Trinity Logistics has named Klaus Luhta as its new in-house counsel.
Luhta, previously a freight agent with the company for nearly five years, brings expertise in contract negotiation, risk management and compliance with him. His background includes roles as chief of staff, director of government regulations and maritime law attorney.
“I wanted to return to practising law,” Luhta said. “My experience as a freight agent gave me insights into logistics, which I can now combine with my legal expertise to support Trinity.”
Doug Potvin, chief financial officer, emphasised Luhta’s broad industry knowledge as a valuable asset for the company. In his new role, Luhta will focus on legal risk management and compliance, strengthening internal relationships to support Trinity’s growth. (ah)
