LUG Aircargo handling gains co-managing director
The supervisory board of LUG Aircargo handling has nominated Rainer Wittenfeld as co-managing director of LUG. In this role, he will support Patrik Tschirch, who has been leading LUG for the past eight years. In addition to his new role, Wittenfeld will retain his position as managing director of the Perishable Centre at Frankfurt Airport, a company in which LUG holds a 40% stake.
In addition to the general management of LUG, Tschirch's remit covers all sales-related issues at the three locations, while Wittenfeld will be responsible for all operational and administrative issues.
Tschirch: “We had to strengthen the management team so that we can generate more thrust for the further expansion of our services and infrastructure and also achieve the ambitious goals that we have set ourselves. I am very pleased to have Wittenfeld on board.” (mw)
