Loxxess takes over logistics from René Lezard
The fashion label René Lezard has adopted a new strategy to improve its competitiveness. Its production has been changed from passive contract processing to a full-scale business and logistics have been outsourced. In the tendering process, the logistics and fulfilment services provider Loxxess won the day.
The operation will be launched from Bor, the company’s location near the Czech-German border, in July 2019. From that date, Loxxess will be responsible for processing incoming goods and quality checks, stock control of lying and hanging garments, order picking, packaging and the despatching of the merchandise to the various sales outlets including export customs clearance.
The provider will also be in charge of returns handling, value added services and other preparatory activities. (mw)
