Loxx believes in harmonisation
German freight forwarder Loxx Logistics has joined the "Initiative for a common economic space from Lisbon to Vladivostok".
One of the aims of this initiative, which was launched in 2015 and which meanwhile enjoys the support of around 100 companies and associations from countries of the EU and the EAEU, is to simplify customs procedures and technical regulations between the countries.
During a video conference, Ulrich Schröder, managing director of Loxx Logistics in Gelsenkirchen, signed the memorandum. Five more companies joined the initiative on this day.
"We were already active on the eastern European market as the world was still divided into an eastern and a western block. Therefore, bringing the markets closer together – including the countries where sanctions are currently in place – is a matter of great importance to us," Schröder says. (sh)
