Loop Energy picks CCO
Loop Energy, a mobile-power company from Vancouver (Canada) that provides zero-emission power systems for medium to heavy-duty transportation applications, has appointed George Rubin as new chief commercial officer. Effective 1 January 2021, he also joined the executive management team, reporting to president and CEO Ben Nyland.
Formerly managing director, commercial strategy, and at Loop Energy since 2020, Rubin now oversees the company’s global commercial activities and its strategy to drive business and revenue growth in existing and new markets.
Rubin brings more than 15 years in executive management and business development roles with various renewable energy companies and was co-founder, vice president and subsequently president of Day4 Energy. (amh)
