Longest "domestic" flight in history
One of the four B787 aircraft of Air Tahiti Nui, which also carry freight on their flights between Papeete in French Polynesia and the French motherland, recently set a new record for the world's longest non-stop "domestic" flight ‒ more than 15,000 km ‒ when its stopover in Los Angeles had been cancelled at short notice. Now the airline is taking a long break.
As many providers, Air Tahiti Nui has now suspended all its services from the start of the summer timetable this coming weekend up to and including 30 April 2020. (ah)
