Long-term contract with mystery client
Wallenius Wilhelmsen has extended its collaboration with “a long-standing automotive customer” through a ten-year logistics contract, starting in April 2027.
The agreement includes land-based services such as vehicle receiving, end-of-line services, accessory installation, storage, distribution and digital supply chain insights. Ocean services are covered under separate agreements.
“Long-term multi-product contracts benefit our customers and us,” said John Felitto, WW’s executive vice-president and COO for logistics services. The deal, one of the company’s largest, is valued at an estimated USD 2 billion. Both partners aim to further expand the scope of the contract to include ocean services and jointly develop digital and efficient supply chain solutions. (ah)
