London City bond opts for freeport advantages
The freeport status has attracted yet another tenant to DP World London Gateway’s growing port-centric logistics park. London City Bond, which will take the facility on a long-term lease from March, is a major UK tax warehousing company and specializes in storage for renowned drinks trade customers. It is the second big business player in three months to choose the site.
Oliver Treneman, park development director at DP World in UK, commented: “By establishing a bonded warehouse on the park, London City Bond further consolidates its position as the premier destination for imported wines from the New World.”
DHL started building the largest warehouse to date on the park in May 2021 and the Oasis Group, which provides information management services and document storage to clients in UK and Europe, signed a long-term agreement on a 33,000 sqm warehouse in October last year. (sh)
