Logistics Property signs lease for Southport logistics park
Logistics Property Company (LPC) continues its growth in the Dallas market by leasing an area of 102,200 sqm at Southport Logistics Park, a master-planned logistics destination covering more than 1 million sqm within the South Dallas submarket of Dallas-Fort Worth (TX, USA). The new user is an American CPG manufacturer.
“100% of Southport Logistics Park’s first two state-of-the-art logistics facilities have now been leased,” said Kent Newsom, LPC’s executive vice president – south region. LPC’s business model allows for further expansion of Southport Logistics Park, and is currently marketing Phase III, an 111,500 sqm speculative build-to-suit pad.
Less than 48 hours from every major market in North America, with four interstate highways and three railroads, Dallas commands a key position in the transport network and is an excellent logistics and manufacturing hub for all types of operations. (mw)
