Logistics park sold before its development
It is a big sale. The St Francis Group and the Richardson family have executed the forward sale of its soon to be developed 122,000 sqm Spectrum Logistics Park to Tristan Capital Partners.
The new owner will let St Francis Group continue to manage the project development and completion. The scheme, which received planning consent in February, will see the development of eight units ranging in size from 21,000 sqm to 10,000 sqm.
The Spectrum Logistics Park will be situated on the site of the former Pilkington Automotive and GKN Aerospace manufacturing plants in Kings Norton, Birmingham and adjacent to the roads A441 and A38.
Demolition of the existing factory space will be undertaken by DSM, with work on site scheduled to begin in May once the existing occupiers have moved out and the first units will be ready for occupation from September 2022. (sh)
