Logistics is female
At the third edition of the “Logistics is female” award ceremony held at the Bavaria “Night of Logistics” event in Nuremberg on 1 July, Bavaria's transport minister Christian Bernreiter honoured three female logistics experts and one company in the inspiration, strategy, courage and career categories.
The joint project of Bavaria’s state ministry of housing, building and transport and the “Logistik-Initiative Bayern” was thus once again able to demonstrate the opportunities that the transport and logistics industry already offers women today.
In addition to the four award winners Katrin Eissler, Spedition Neuner, VCA Logistik + Services, Grossostheim, Birgit Ach, Spedition Niedermaier and Ann-Kathrin Gleinig, Spedition Amm, twenty nominated companies and individuals also received recognition for their achievements (see picture). (cj)
