‘Logistics is Female’ initiative resumes
The initiative ‘Logistics is female’ (Logistik ist weiblich) is celebrating its first birthday today, International Women’s Day. The Logistics Initiative Bavaria and the Bavarian state ministry of housing, construction and transport aim to contribute to strengthening the Bavarian transport and logistics sector in terms of equal opportunities, job attractiveness and development potential.
Bavarian transport minister Christian Bernreiter said that, “in partnership with the Logistics Initiative Bavaria and CNA, we initiated the ‘Logistics is Female’ prize in 2022, to convince more women of the opportunities in this sector.”
Female and male logistics experts as well as companies can apply in person for the ‘Logistics is Female’ prize again this year, or propose suitable people or companies. (cj)
