Logistics hub of the future on a historic site

At 100 years old, the building of the Renault Trucks distribution centre in Vénissieux no longer meets the environmental and operational standards required for today’s logistics business. The commercial vehicle manufacturer is therefore constructing a new building with a positive energy balance at its Lyon-St. Priest site, where the axle production plant is currently located.

The total area will span over 46,000 sqm, including 4,000 sqm of office space, with an investment of EUR 132 million. The global spare parts distribution centre for the French brand within the Volvo Group is scheduled to open in mid-2028. Renault Trucks will also plant 400 trees at the future site to improve biodiversity and the quality of life in the workplace. (ah)
