Logistics association elects new board
VdWT (Verein der Wirtschaftsingenieure für Transportwesen, association of industrial engineers for transport) was originally founded as an alumni association of the transport degree course of the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences. The association has developed into a high-quality institution that is now firmly established in the logistics industry.
The board has now been reformed: Bernd Kratz, owner of EMA, was elected first chairman; the second chairman is Benjamin Wagner vom Berg, professor and lecturer at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences for transport, logistics and logistics engineering management. The remaining seats on the board were assigned to the active students Regina Schlereth, Alina Schaar and Steffen Moritz.
"With their activities on the board the students gain a more profound insight into the organisation of a logistics association, the organisation of diverse events and thus quickly make new contacts within the industry," Benjamin Wagner vom Berg said. (mw)
