Logisticians elect new leadership

After 25 years of service to the German Logistics Association BVL, Thomas Wimmer (right) has handed over the role of chairman of the board to Kai Althoff (CEO 4flow SE). Althoff was elected to the presidium together with Ilse Henne (CEO Thyssenkrupp materials services), who has also been appointed deputy chair.

Frank Dreeke (CEO BLG Logistics Group) has stepped down from the presidium and will leave the BVL board at the end of the year. Accounting officer Stephan Wohler (CEO Edeka Minden-Hannover) will remain in the presidium.

Wimmer’s official farewell will take place at the BVL Supply Chain CX, formerly the German Logistics Congress, to be held in Berlin on 23 -25 October. (ah)
