Logista results in financial 2021
Madrid-based Logista, which specialises in proximity distribution services in southern Europe, has presented its results for fiscal 2021. Revenues grew by 5.6%, clocking in at EUR 1.2 billion, due to improvements registered in all geographical areas and activities, except for the distribution of tobacco in France and Portugal.
Especially noteworthy are the revenues in the pharma, parcels (Nacex) and convenience products segments, which registered double-digit increases in Spain and Italy. Adjusted ebit amounted to EUR 298 million, which represents an improvement of 13.2% compared to the previous year. Operating profits grew by 12.8%, reaching EUR 240 million.
Logista regularly serves more than 200,000 points of sale in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Poland. The company reported that Covid-19 hasn't had a significant impact on the results of the fiscal year in any of the markets. (sh)
