Lobbying for Tyrol
The Austrian chamber of commerce reports that Armin Manutscheri has succeeded Peter Tropper as managing director of the Tyrolean freight transport association.
The commercial lawyer, who prevailed against many other applicants in a selection procedure, moved from a Viennese commercial law firm to the forwarding and transport industry.
Among other positions, Manutscheri was responsible for legal and claims management and served as commercial manager and transport manager of a forwarding company with approx. 850 employees and an annual turnover of around EUR 200 million. Tyrol's public and private transport companies and related industries employ more than 16,000 people. (amh)
