Loading solutions for truck, rail and ports
Vollert's intralogistics experts will showcase solutions for the safe and sensitive handling of batteries weighing tonnes in troughs or on transport pallets at the next Logimat fair in Stuttgart (Germany). These presentations include battery changing and charging stations for driverless container transporters (AGV) in the new mega hub in Lehrte (Germany) and in various ports.
In Los Angeles for example, the experts also use their know-how in battery handling for loading solutions in the automotive supply sector, where their rail loading systems enable safe battery delivery to automotive plants.
Vollert has also developed automated loading systems for trucks for Speira and Aleris. Here, automatic cranes handle the loading and unloading of sensitive aluminium coils. (ben)
