Liz Stokes takes up the baton
APC, an independent parcel delivery network based in the UK, has appointed Liz Stokes as its new HR director. She takes over from Corina Forman, who had been with the business for eighteen years.
Stokes has a proven track record in a range of industries including defence, business services and construction, in the UK and worldwide. She joins APC from Ultra Electronics, a global defence business, where she previously worked as VP of human resources. Prior to that, she held the position of HR director at the Clancy Group and Balfour Beatty, in addition to other senior HR roles.
The company is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024, marking 30 years of supporting SME businesses and providing service in the UK overnight delivery market. APC was awarded a Rospa (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) silver health & safety award in 2023, for the fourth consecutive year. (cj)
