L.I.T. augments intermodal services in Italy
Autotrasporti Pedot has a new owner. The intermodal specialist based in Trentino-Alto Adige (Italy) has been taken over by the German L.I.T. Group with retroactive effect from 1 January 2024. Pedot has a rail-capable trailer fleet and offers road transport of full and part loads within Italy and warehousing services.
L.I.T. will operate the company as an independent brand in Italy with Stefano Pedot remaining managing director. With the acquisition, L.I.T. will expand its business in the country and offer intermodal transport services between Italy and the Benelux countries as well as Germany from a single source in partnership with Peduto.
